Hi buddy of my just bought this one.
At the store they told him its a trachelyopterus galeatus.
Just to be sure cause most of times they were wrong about the most species.
Thanks guys

Looks like it to me but i could be wrong. The lighting makes it look darker. Or perhaps a photo from another dimension would help? You are right people get it wrong on species most times, and its good to research.

Hi,
to me it looks more like Tatia intermedia.
However, this subfamily is not my main focus...
Cheers,

Hi,
its definetely a Tatia, possibly Tatia cf. dunni.
The real intermedia is much rarer than it seems to, and they are very similar.

Definitely intermedia-complex. Not dunni or cf. dunni, as they have large blotches, sometimes close to a "leopard" sort of pattern. Dunni doesn't have fine spots like this, and those fine spots are present on most, if not all intermedia-complex fish.
