Hi,
it's the first time that I hear that a Rineloricaria sp. should be a mouthbreeder.
AFAIK they are all cave/tube/substrate breeders.
Are you sure that you are talking about Rineloricaria or do you mean Loricaria ?!
Cheers,

Yes, they are mouthbrooders but with green eggs. They spawn like
but low on the glass. I keep them in an unheated tank in my fishroom, about 72-74F. They eat all foods and are hardy; the fry are REALLY hard to raise.

Hi,
the genera can be distiguished fairly easily if you look at the mouth.
Loricaria nickeriensis
Hemiloricaria/Rineloricaria sp.
Loricaria spp. have long extensions of their lip. as yours also have.
Cheers,

Please ignore what I said above, I was talking about my species from Uruguay and not Paraguay - how easy confusion happens!

This could be
or one of the other 3 described species from the area. We'd need a lot more pictures....

I agree with @Jools, as it looks like there may possibly be two species or at least two collection locations in that one picture to me...
