Is this species South American?

Is this species South American?

I have two Red Lizard Cats, I think they are South Americans. They are L010a, Hemiloricaria Sp.. Does anyone know anything about the breeding of these guys? I have eggs and one of them is guarding them.

they are south americans, they are loricarids, but I can't tell you much beyond that
