What are people's experiences with keeping sterbai cories at 24 Celsius (75 Fahrenheit)? The Cat-eLog lists this as the lower end of their range, but I fear they may be rather lethargic at this temperature. One of my goals for keeping cories is to have active fish that stir up detritus from the tank bottom.

I once spoke with a corydoras breeder in Maryland who bred a bunch of different types of corydoras in a large shed he kept in the lower 70s. He said the sterbai were fine in that range.

Completely colloquial, but I know that almost every time I forgot to plug the heater back in after a water change I'd lose a sterbai soon thereafter. Normal tank temp was 78F, would drop down to maybe 70 overnight.

I came to ask the same question, so yay for answers! I'm trying a group of 6 at 72. They seem very active so far but I just got them moved in today so I'll be keeping an eye on them.
