Are these Corydoras Bondi?

These two pictures show 2 different fish of the same type with different color variations. One is brownish w/black markings, the other is grey/silver with the same markings. I got them together and they appear to be siblings. Are they C. Bondi? They're hard to see (very shy fish who don't like to have their pictures taken) but both are in the middle of their pictures.

I think you might be right. I compared them to every sodalis I could find and mine closely resemble the sodalis with a distinct black line. Not sure I could tell a sodalis from a bondi but I'm new to this. Thanks.

Hi,

C. bondi don't have this vermiculated pattern or only very short lines:

The midlateral line is very pronounced and quite often the spine of the dorsal fin is blackish. The caudal fin is transparent.
They are also much more slender compared to C. sodalis.
C. bondi is not often seen in the trade.

Based on the pictures I would agree that you most probably have C. sodalis.

Cheers,
