Hi! Umm... I have just made an avitar for myself on 'Paint' on my computer. Yes, it is pitiful, but I would like to know how I could get it to come up under my name. If anyone out there can help, please do.

Gaa... so forgetful.... Whoever it was that Instant Messaged me, Thank you. Just one little problem- the file is a .bmp file. It doesn't work. Um, if you or someone else could help me, that would be great. Because, of coarse, I'm lost. *heh*

heh... Should I send you the file? How do you do that? I'm not good at that kind of stuff. Do you go to "mail" and then 'send file' ? If I am to that, Roger, I need your e-mail address, right? I'm kinda at a loss on this...

aha i see...it will only look perfect on half of the posts... slightly different shade of grey.

you can turn the background colour of the picture to invisible, how to do that probably depends on the software you use.

I'm not sure why it didn't work when I sent it back to you. I posted it and had it as my avy for a few min just to make sure it would work. I am going to make it my new avy for a few days. right click on it and choose save as. Then upload that as your avy.[/img]

My advice: use any other programme than Paint to make your avatar! Paint really sucks! .BMP files are really large; it would be much better if you saved it as a GIF or a Jpeg file.

I saved it, but I am giong to change the color a bit. Don't mind! Let's see if it works now.

GAA!!! It's not working!!!!!! It said " The file must be a .jpg, .gif, or .png"!!! Stupid useless. It doesn't like me! Roger! How did it work for you!? I just don't get it.....

My point excately, Elle. . Don´t you have some other programme, in which you can save the file as a Gif, Jpeg or Png? (I recommend Gif-file, which is the smallest)
Or perhaps you could e-mail it to me. I would be able to save it in another file-format. Trust me; I´m educating as a professional computer geek.
