Are there any L 204 breeders available with fish to sell?

What? Really? Wow, where does Petsmart have 204? In what region of the country?

I would be highly surprised to see these at a Petsmart. Sure they weren't Panaque maccus?

Petco and Petsmart carry Segrest Farms fish, so it is possible.

Yes but Petsmart's fish set is very regimented and unless Segrest were able to produce 2,000+ of them on a weekly basis they would not make that set. That's why you don't see a lot of diversity in a Petsmart. Also why when you go to any two Petsmarts you see pretty much the exact same fish.
Petco has a far more diverse ordering process and a more flexible fish set so it would be more likely to see them there. But even then I would be very surprised.

After dealing so much with PetSmart in another thread (
http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... =2&t=41860), I learned that PetSmart has their everyday fish all the time, and then they order "seasonal" fish that they only stock for a few months, like L052 and hillstream loaches, Apistogramma agassizii, etc. For example my local PetSmart is currently selling twig cats and ... I can't remember - maybe flag fish?

Precisely. A few in my area have electric blue acaras while others don't, but instead have the farlowella. I've never seen many L204s even in the stores that had them in west Phoenix, maybe 1 or 2.
