Just wondering, can Corydoras aeneus be with Platydoras armatulus or the former will be eaten by the latter?

I've combined Platydoras with Corydoras, without any predation.

However, both fishes feed from the same sand, so you would have to perform night feeding for the Platydoras, as the Corydoras will eaten anything you feed during the day.

For me this was the reason I kept this combination for only a short while, remouving the Corydoras soon

I think he means they are both bottom feeders so they eat from the same area of the tank (the sand/gravel bottom). The corys forage during the day so care must be taken to put food in at night so the Raphael gets his share.

6 Corydoras - I think 3 or 4 liter each, that is 25 liters for the 6

However as the Platydoras will grow to 20 cm, and at night it is rather active - I'd suggest keeping them in at least 130 * 50 * 50 cm. That is close to 4 feet * 2 * 2. Actually, it is 4 feet 4 * 1 feet 8 * 1 feet 8

It might need only 40 of the 325 liters, but it will need the room

Combined, there is 65 of the 325 liters used. Part of the 325 liter is for sand, and glass, but some 200 can be used for other fishes

My Raph is in a 55 gallon (4 ft long 2ft high 13 inches deep) with a ton of caves, but he and my spotted Raph insist on jamming themselves into the log with a behemoth of a .

You may want to give him lots of dark places to hide.

Right now, though my catfish is with an oscar and 4 silver dollars. I am planning to use my catfish for an aquaponic system.
