Breeding Plecos?

I have been breeding fish for ages now but will admit have never attempted breeding any species of plecos. But I figured why not start. So I am wondering what species of plecos would be a good to get started with. Now I am certain the BN's will be a good choice but they are very common in my area so I was hoping to try something else. (with this being said I am awaiting Super red BN's from a supplier, as this color is not in my area.) I have read that clown plecos are not too challenging but I am not certain, anyway I'll leave it up to you more experienced pleco keepers.

Thanks for the help.

Many Ancistrus, Peckoltia, Ancistomus, and Hypancistrus all breed readily in the aquarium and are great for getting your feet wet.

L340s are fairly easy to breed, and they won't break the bank getting a group. Good luck...
