Amaralia hypsiuru (2 rayed banjo catfish) Canada only!
Hello!
I am trying to source a few of these for species tank I plan on assembling in the fall and will not be purchasing any soon but I would like to track some down to purchase for when I am ready. Also feel free to let me know what other banjos are floating around up here!
Regards
James

I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...

It's weird these fish never show up in (my part of) Europe.

I know a guy in the US who got two in… but that doesn't really help you.
If you know stores that import directly, ask if there's a "banjo boa" on the list. That is amaralia.

Funny thing, I contacted Spencer jack (Canada's fish guy... ) and sent him an email with every common name (including scientific, Banjo boa and others) and he told me that he is certain that they are not on the current export list for the country of brazil... I have a couple emails out right know but thought this would be the place to check!

Try to get in touch with Oliver Lucanus (below water), if anyone in canada could get them, it'd probably be him.

He's a wholesaler, but if you could get a local store to order from him you could ask about amaralia.
