Sergeant: Not stone, sir.
Major: They're very good scissors!!

Re: Anyone Following The Cricket World Cup???
Hi all,
I've listened to some matches via "BBC Radio 5" in the UK, although as an England fan it has been a bit of a horror show so far, and I'm not looking forward to vs. Scotland tonight.
Good win for India versus SA today, I though it would be a lot closer.
cheers Darrel

Re: Anyone Following The Cricket World Cup???
I shall be watching my first game of cricket this evening, or at least the start. It's not a sport I follow but as I am a general sport fan and also a Radio 5 live listener I've been drawn in by their great coverage.

As shocking as it sounds, I am actually a Pakistan fan when it comes to cricket.
Gone are the days when English players were among the most stylish players ever. I still say David Gower was a more classy player than Brian Lara.
I used to watch pretty much every match until a decade ago when it started becoming way too commercial for my taste.Jools wrote:I shall be watching my first game of cricket this evening, or at least the start. I am sort of following it, although I don't have "pay TV" so even though my country is co-hosting it I can't watch any games....
