Just out of curiosity, I'd like to hear for everyone what would you do if you could build the ideal cory fish room.
How many tanks would you have?
Multiple species per tank or species only tanks?
What size tanks?
Central filtration or individual sponge filters?
Central air pump?
Bare tanks or decorated?
Heat the room or heat the tanks?
Lighting?
This should be interesting to see how everyone envisions the ideal setup.

I'd do a mini house (bigger than a shed but smaller than my house) with 400-20Glong tanks, species only, individual sponge filters with several air pumps housed in separate outside compartments (no noise), all tanks as natural as the origin site of fish for décor, heat each tank as necessary with the mini house supplied with own heating/cooling unit, plumped in with auto WC system to pretreated tap or mineralized RO as needed, soft interior lighting on the mini house with tanks having a central lighting per shelf equipped with moonlight, stainless steel washer sink with 2 matching fridges and a half bath, with a automated turntable in the center to hold my lounger, snack table and binoculars so with a press of a button I can relax and enjoy the view after having spent a large fortune to set up LOL

LOL Mommy's quiet zone, no children no spouse but maybe enough room for a small loveseat on the turntable.

AMEN SISTER!
There was a huge old house for sale by my sister's house and it had a third floor. I said that would be my yarn room, and it'd have a lock on the outside (so no one could go in there besides me) and the inside (so no one could get to me when I was in there!)
My husband did mention that the next house was "apparently going to have to have a fish room"...

Wow, I take it this has been an ongoing dream for awhile now. You'd have a bigger and better display than most public aquariums.
I'd like to hear from more people
