New pleco called Colombian zebra
Sold as Columbian zebra. The one in the back may be L 129 but one in front is not

Impossible only means that somebody hasn't done it correctly yet.

Not really common. They don't even come from Colombia. However, I haven't seen L127 in several years, so they're at least a bit on the scarce side. Colombian zebra has also been used as a sort of catch-all name for any small stripey pleco which the importer didn't have a positive ID on, so it's likely they were just given the label to have a name to sell.

If you want some I have a colony of about 100 breeding and multiplying as I have been shipped these instead of my L340's many times and have massed a huge breeding group now. Free - just pay for shipping!
