Decorus in a streaming tank

Hello!

I can get a group of 5 S. decorus for my west african streaming tank (200 x 40 x 50, about 9000 l/h turnover). But since I read in internet, that they come from slow-flowing river parts I'm not sure anymore if that will work. Does anyone has an advice? Also, can I introduce S. brichardi to them?

Thanks in advance!

Stan,

As your tank has 400 liters, the flow is 22 times an hour, or (assuming a lateral flow) an average flow of 44 meters an hour

Fast moving water is 1,25 meters a second, or 4000 meters an hour.

The average flow in your tank is still quiet

How many S. brichardi???

I think the two would mix okay, keep an eye on them of course, I do not think I would put more syno's than this....as this is max. Make sure there is more then enough hiding places for all fish in question.
Are they grown adult decorus already??

I agree with bas on the flow...even a quiet stretch of river can have a good current.

They come from me Birger
3 are around 25 cm, one is around 20 cm and the last on is 15cm.
This group is rather friendly, but sometimes they try to intimidate other catfish
