help I'd my Corey

Hey folks I'm new here but had aquariums all my life. Recently got into cories and not sure about this one I got at the pet store. His barbels or whiskers are longer than all my other cories.best pics I could get he's like Houdini lol. Thanks in advance!!

Really hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like a Synodontis species, not a Corydoras. It could be a young
, or a hybrid species of Synodontis, but impossible to be sure.

Not to up on scientific names but I looked it up and it looks like an upside down catfish. Thanks for the info

The "upside down catfish" is Synodontis nigriventris.
It's very hard to tell from the photos but the dorsal fin looks to be too tall and the striping on the tail are not a characteristic of that species.
I agree with Martin that this is probably Synodontis eupterus or one of the many hybrid Synodontis in the hobby. These will get quite a bit larger than Synodontis nigriventris.
