Came in as C punctatus but I am not convinced.

I recently purchased a bag of 5 Corries at an auction. I am in contact with the seller who says they came in as C punctatus from Columbia with some C 'melanistus' types in the mix. Sorry about the qualiity of the images. I will take some better shots in a photo tank this weekend. What am I looking for as the ideal shot full on side?
As you can see below this fish has a dark band from the forehead through the eye which C punctatus does not from what I can find.
They might be C melanistis I suppose, but in the reference photos I find the tail of the C melanistis does not have the distinctive spot pattern that I see in my fish.

Two additional pics
And as I see these photos are not displaying well on this site here is a link to a thread on my home site where you can expand each photo and at least see them a little better.

Let's see if they load better from my hard drive instead of from the website.

Hi,
the short snouted one is C. leucomelas and the long snouted one might be C. agassizii or similar.
C. punctatus is not available in the trade, this species comes from Suriname only (or potentially also French Guaiana) and there are no commercial exports from these places.
Cheers,

Thanks, I will take some better shots on Wednesday night, and post them. Besides better photos of all 5 I take it whatever info I can get beyond the fact that they were shipped out of Columbia would be helpful, specifically the reported collection point.

So I have three of the short nosed fish identified as C. leucomelas and the fish look young enough I may actually have a chance of having both sexes. On the other two I will keep my eyes out and see if this importer brings in any more.
