honeycomb or not

Wife found a lovely fish which we were told was a honeycomb driftwood catfish. Idea for us, nice size etc
But. When I asked question on another forum they said this honeycomb doesn't suck on glass.
Yes when we seen him in the shop he was sucking on the glass, wife reserved him as she wanted him and they caught him and placed in another tank he looked more like a pleco then the catfish named here.
Even the photos I've seen of a driftwood honeycomb look different to the one in the shop
