Just had to share this. After 5 years back in the fishkeeping hobby I have achieved the 2 things I set out to do.. Get some L46's to spawn and to spawn L183's. Well this morning the eggs have hatched and there is so many babies swimming around my tank now!!! I can't believe how many there are!! There has to be at least 50 babies in the tank this morning.. I have had these fish for over 4 years and got them at about 1" long. Then I added a pair of wild caught fish to the tank (40g breeder). The daddy is not the wild caught male but one of the fish I raised myself. This makes me so happy as I had given up on them just like the L46's.. I guess that's the trick..haha
Being a single daddy of a 3yr old little girl I have sold off all but a select few fish I just can't let go. I feel over joyed and blessed to have things starting to turn around in my life and this just proves good Karma does come to those who don't hang there head but face all of life challenges!!!
