I can't wait to see everyone at the convention. I believe this will be the largest PlanetCatfish turnout since the first convention in 2004.

This will be my first Catfish Convention - can't wait!

I did not go on the collecting trip at the first convention I went to...did not miss one since, should be great fun again, looking forward also to meeting Melanie Stiassny.

If all goes well I will have just got back from Sierra Leone the month before the convention.

catfish convention is still a little off but whos interested in warming up at the pvas all-day spring auction!

Guaranteed there will be a lot of corydora, aspidora, plecos, angels, dwarf cichlids, live plants, supplies, raffles, hobbyists to start a bid war with and so much more!
i will be bringing juveniles Aspidora cw052, black phantom and spilotus, some ancistrus triradiatus and common bushy nose as well!

Can anybody tell me if room selling is done at the Convention and if so does one have to book a special set of rooms where room selling is allowed? I went to the PVAS site to see what I could learn, but they require one join to read and there is no reason for me to join.

The rooms for room sales will be on the 3rd floor. Everyone on that floor will be with the convention and most if not all will be selling from their rooms. For room sales, you book your room through the hotel normally. You then contact the room sales coordinator to get put on the 3rd floor.

On Friday night after the last speaker pretty much everyone in the Convention will be shopping at the in-room sales.
