These came in from Colombia, and have a much browner color with a more scooped head. they are pretty small right now, at just under 1", but look very different from most of the typicl otos i get in upon import. Any opinions on species?

Hi all,
I've got no idea on the species, but I bought some very similar looking
about a year ago in the UK, and they have remained very small.
Your best hope for an ID would be to try and compare the pattern on the caudal peduncle and tail with the species listed in the Cat-eLog.

has a clear caudal fin base. They seem to be closest to
(an "upper amazon" species) but I don't have a very firm view of that species or the ID.

I bought some of these from Msjinkzd. They are really cool. They seem to be more active than my other otos (I now have 4 species) and are the smallest of them all. In fact, I like them so much that I ordered some more. They arrive tomorrow
