This is a rather unigue opportunity, as they are normally not exported, and these came to Europe under a label Pimelodella. It is one of the very few catfishes which are also found in Central America
I got 6, @ 25-35 cm. One, the smallest, 20 cm, has a spine which is broken laterally, but regardless this it can swim rather wel. Still, I think this spine explains why it is the smallest.
I live in Nijmegen, NL, this is 30 km from the Border with Germany, near Kleve in Germany
