I have had these little guys for more than 2 years (got them july 2011). I never really bothered to get a proper ID for them

Here is the first one:

Second one:

The second fish is larger and lighter in color than the first.
hopefully those pictures will suffice. They are impossible to photograph in their aquarium as they spend all day buried.

EDIT: sorry I moved the post I had posted it in the wrong section

Could they be Bunocephalus coracoideus? I was reading through the ID forum and someone had some banjos for ID earlier and it was said that the color can be quite variable.

Based on the length of the postcoracoid process, it looks more like .

Hmm, thank-you I was stuck inbetween those two, but I went with coracoideus because I read it was the most common in the trade. I will add them to mycats I get to be the 11th registered keeper. Keeping these fish has been interesting they really believe they are twigs to the point where you can pick them up out of the water and they will remain immobile. I don't think they are the smartest of fish. They just bury themselves and inhale food that comes near them. That being said it seems to work well for them so I can't judge.
