Phyllonemus typus to AZ
Anyone know of anyone with these guys? Dave's Fish used to carry them but he hasn't been able to get them in for a few months.
But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I will be unique in all the world..... You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.

Unfortunately they had a single one for months, which does me no good. They haven't gotten any more since.

I had 4 ( 2M/2F ) for 2 years. Great and interesting fish, my favorite Tanganyikan catfish !
( Look at my Board name............ )
Availability, I don't know for the states but in The Netherlands they are available regularly.

Re: Phyllonemus typus to AZ
i was able to find some about 4-5 years ago now ( I think that long) from a local breeder. he doesn't keep them anymore and neither do I.
Try: http://www.davesfish.com, http://www.cichlids.net and contact the wet spot about ordering you a group. I have fish from all and all seem to be helpful in the hunt to find rare fish.
Also, 1 is a start. that is 50% of a breeding pair!

Re: Phyllonemus typus to AZ
I had asked them to get them in for me at the cichlid exchange (wholesale sister to the wet spot) and I forgot you had asked me about them. I'm really sorry! I am pretty sure at least two went home with my bookkeeper, so I will ask her tomorrow if she still has them. I do have L. cyclurus right now that I purchased for myself though.
