Probably a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway... I know several varieties of Ancistrus will cross breed. (Calico/super red/albinos). My question is, will Green Dragons coss breed with the red marble longfins that I have? Thanks for answering dumb questions!

As far as i am aware , all the varieties you list are forms of the same species, so they will breed together.

Here is a few pics of them. I've always seen them called Ancistrus Sp. Green Dragon. Don't know if they are just a different strain of the reg bristlenose and would cross breed with calicos and super reds or they are a dif species. Seems that the consensus is that they will

Well those pics are of juveniles. They darken up a bit and the white on the tail and dorsal fades a bit as they mature.
or something similar. That's to say a species. Green dragons look like the unspotted fish above. AFAIK, they're further artificial hybrid colour sports. They are also available in veiltail...

Ummm, did these by any chance come from the wet spot in Portland? They actually look like my fry that I sold them as L180. They do not look like green dragons, to me. The good news for you is that they would have been more expensive than the green dragons. They shouldn't cross with the red marbles, but I'm not sure I'd count on it.

This is a pic of the exact ones I'm considering. They have the light discoloration on the tail and dorsal it appears. I know it's hard because they are so young, but do these seem like true green dragons to you?
