My 3 Calophysus. Very interesting fish. The biggest is about 34 cm, the smallest around 30 cm.
They swim a lap in the tank, then rest, and so on. Very nice to see.

This is a beautiful species & ive always liked these.

have you seen any undesireable behaviour at all?

Nothing unexpected. They are very eager eaters so I have to really throw in enough food so the other fish can eat as well.
And when I put my in, they bit one, repeatedly and it was eventually eaten.
It was a very small M. thoracata so not really a surprise. Since, they haven't eaten any of the smaller residents.
They behave very well and really are eyecatchers.

It's a new tank. I moved last saturday and had a tank made here at my new home so I wouldn't have to move the other tank.
The tank's dimensions are 300cmx100cmx70 and filtered over 2 internal filters (both 3000lph Eheim compact+ 3000).
I'm very happy with that system. I use it on my small breeding tanks.
The current is quite strong. I used to have 2 powerheads on my tank, but because the filters don't need to move the water
very high, the output is very strong.

Great Looking Catfish! Liked it so much I went and got one! I noticed you have a few and I only have (1) should you keep these in a group? Right now, I am keeping mine in with a small Peacock Bass that is only 2.5" while this catfish is approx 5". Seems to be fairly peaceful, so far, and I am wondering will he join in on the live misquito fish that I feed to my Peacock?

This is an epic catfish in an epic tank !! I hope its available here in Pune,India.

It's a catfish that fares better in a small group. I was lucky, there were 3 available at the LFS.
Mind that they get big. 40 cm or 16 inch is not an exception.
Another clip, I've put a venturi on the return of 1 of the internal filters.

Splendid tank. Are those huge rocks real or faux?

All real rocks and darn heavy to put in a tank. Lifting them is one thing.
Extending your arms with such a weight into a tank, is whole different thing.
I added some plants today on the left. Right side is going to follow. Looks great.
The green brings a nice contrast with the black background.

That video is really nice and your cats are really beautiful! Forgive me if you have already mentioned the size of your tank but what how big of a tank are they in? Judging by the smaller fish in the tank and the way they just love to cruze they look very peaceful. My LFS only had two and the other one did not look like he was too healthy so I didn't take the chance. Mine is super healthy and I will try to post a pic. I had told my LFS that I wanted them to get me a Tigrinus but I am going to call them back and tell them I want more of these as their max size is more managable.

I intend to actually keep mine outdoors next summer in my garden pond and I think they would really enjoy the space.
