the answer to both your questions is no, Cork city and county fishkeepers are starved of fish in general, never mind catfish, most of the shops buy from one supplier and generally stick with bread and butter fish, occasionally you can be lucky and find some nice cats that were miss ordered!
if you are heading to cork city enjoy the likes of the Crawford art gallery or take a spin a few miles down the road to Fota wildlife park......... but catfish, well you most likely will be disappointed
