Legit Synodontis decorus?

Post by mudfrogk5 »

It appears to be so to me, but I'm not an expert. In the specimen tank pics they were around 2". In the tank pics they are around 2.5 -2.75".

Sounds good. Hopefully they will get their tailors soon, not like I ever see them though.

My ex-youngster group (RIP) started to grow their dorsal fin extension when they were ~7cm SL.

Mine were very reclusive also, as a consequence I did not see them covered head to toe in white spots (presumed Ich) until they were really ill and were surfing in the current in desperation to try and breathe, lost the whole group over the space of a week (along with one Synodontis nigriventris and a Steatocranus casuarius).

Lovely catfish, my singleton adult (bought as last of the shop tank before the youngsters) went to live with Mats late summer last year.
