L14 and L200 setups

Post by mcaquatic »

I have a couple tanks for growing out L14s and L200 B. demantoides (when i find a small group of them). I know these are both territorial pleco species. I want to order some pleco tubes/condos and my question is can I order the condos? Will caves right next to each other be an issues? Would I be better off with individual caves spread out? Really want to minimize aggression while I grow them out. Thanks

i would spread out the caves on the L14 as mine are 12-14 inches and require their own space. On the 200 you are fine with whatever. mine are 9 inches and really dont mess with anything but fish that push on them first.

still working on rearranging everyone. Think it would be ok to have a 11 inch sunshine and 6 inch sunshine together in a 125 with multiple hiding spots? Right now i have the six incher in with a two inch sunshine and he doesn't bother it at all. Previously the six inch one was in a 75g with a 6 inch female that he killed.
