My upside down cats are pigs. I don't know if my Oto's are getting enough to eat. Anyone have
any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

May I ask what kind of upside-down cat you have? There is more than one kind and they behave differently, and thus could compete with the oto's differently.

IMO this is not a good combination even with the quietest and calmest of synos...they will still outcompete the otos for anything but maybe algae.

Hi all,

Put in some vegetables for them, Zucchini, Cucumber, Capsicum, boiled carrot etc. they need these as a food supplement in all tanks. Also add some dead leaves, you can use "Indian Almond" from the LFS, or collect Oak leaves.

Both fish are ones that only do well long term in planted tanks, and if they are happy, and you have enough cover you probably won't see them very often.

Have a look at these posts for the advantages of dead leaves: <http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... r+food#p23>, <http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... 4&p=236845> and <http://www.seriouslyfish.com/all-the-leaves-are-brown/>
