I believe they'll both be of equal difficulty.

seeing both are essentially the "same fish", I wouldn't see why either would be more difficult? Good luck with either!

Hi!
They are quite "easy".
I would rank following species as difficult to breed.
Quite easy
L264
L172
L007/L29
Difficult
L241
L240
Very difficult
L91
I cant say anyting about other species, but I bred these.

Such a shame that L91 is hard to breed. It would be interesting to see if someone could line breed the dragon or tiger-fin varieties of these, and to perhaps see if the orange coloration would spread beyond the fins and in to the body.

I thought they lost this coloration as they matured?

Hello!
Thanks for your messages!
They confirm my thoughts.
I just asked because in the net I see many breeding articles and fry-pictures of L7.
Information about L29 is rather rare.
