Microsynodontis batesii compatibility

I have the idea to start a West Afrika tank.
I like to combine Microsynodontis batesii with Synodontis nigriventis because they're living together in th wild.
Is this advisable ?
The Microsynodontis batesii are very small, 2/3 cm and the nigriventis 4/5cm.

I do not see a problem with this combination as long as there is enough cover for the micros and you have them feeding already(which should be no problem to do), the synos should just ignore them.

I do not think you will mind me saying: this would be a Congo Region tank...the Region considered West Africa or Upper Guinean is basically from Senegal around to Ivory Coast.

(EDIT) I do not think they actually live near one another
are from the Congo proper and
are from Southern Cameroon and Northern Gabon. They are a Lower Guinean endemic as far as I understand(yet another region)
Microsynodontis batessi has been listed lately but usually turn out to be a different species than batessi...hope they are the right species.

I think I have confused Microsynodontis batesii with Synodontis batesii.
Synodontis batesii is living with Synodontis nigriventis not Microsynodontis batesii.
