Just some pics of my bristlenose plecs. Mostly the biggest female. Also one male has definitely appeared (not pictured). The bristles on his face are really starting to show and he is chasing all the other fish from a hole in the driftwood but no eggs are currently present in the driftwood hole/cave. Does this mean he might try to entice the female to spawn soon? Thanks for checking out my fish!

Nice and healthy looking female. It does look sexually mature.

Also the way her stomach is she almost looks like she could be gravid. I'm just not sure about the male.

It is a possibility that she is gravid. But we'll never really confirm until she mates and lay her eggs. Hope you'll get her to spawn.
