Reliable Difference in Bagarius?

According to Sp guide on here, the easiest way to tell the difference in Bagarius Yarelli and B rutilus is the adipose fin in B rutilus starts before the start of the anal fin, is this correct? Fishbase say this is the same as B yarelli but they are quoting T.R. Roberts 1983 description, cant seem to find Ng & Kottelat, 2000 revision, to check, can anybody help please?

I never used the position of the adipose fin to distinguish between B. rutilus and B. yarrelli.

Check the original description here.
