Corydoras delphax? Not too sure from the picture, they may also be Corydoras melanistus but the head profile looks to "snouty" (to borrow a fullerism) for me.

I thought it was the other way around. The snouts are not acute enough to be C. delphax and they should be C. melanistius instead.

i was thinking c. melanistius when i picked them up. they do have the short, shubby nose rather than the long snout.

At first glance I would say either C. melanistius or C. ephippifer but I have a question, I can't clearly see the caudal fins, is there any vertical baring showing? if so they are not either of these two species. If possible can you post another picture.

Yes, I meant not "snouty" enough. Also, we should consider than more than one species might be present. The fish in the middle left of the picture looks like <I>C. melanistus</I> but the one below it looks "snoutier" but maybe that is the angle of the shot?
