Need help identifying a few plecos. They are currently in a tank with semi hard well water with ph around 7.5

Is #2 captive bred? Looks like my juvenile L340.

#2 looks like what i bought as L129.

Not sure if captive bred, bought from lfs in va. His stripes extend across body with no stripes going length of body. Sort of zebra stripped but cream colored lines with brown in between

I agree that it's a Hypancistrus debilittera(L-129). I have some juvenile L340 and the lighter colored banding is considerably wider than the fish in the picture.

I'm not convinced regarding the L129 vs. L340 pic. I've raised quite a few of both over the years and have noticed there is a lot of variation regarding both the pattern and stripe width in both species. L129 does tend to produce more narrow stripes, but L340 also regularly ranges from very narrow to a 50/50 split even within a single spawn. They're just too variable to be able to give a definitive answer without taking into consideration for the other differences.

I'm not saying it's not L129. I just don't think there is enough info from the pic to verify it one way or the other.
