help to identify a catfish from Jambi, Indonesia

anyone can help me to identify this catfish ?
my friend got this fish from Batang Merangin River near Batanghari River - Jambi, Indonesia
size ard 5-6 inches

. Not commonly encountered. In fact, I don't recall seeing one from the Batang Hari drainage before.

Also (@ everyone);

Looking at the photographs of this really nice specimen, that the pectoral and dorsal fin spines and rays appear to be protruding through the soft tissue. I know that damage can be caused to the fins soft tissue in the capture of any fish; but, they seem more uniform in nature and not haphazard as one would tend to expect to find if it is damage caused by capture.
Thoughts anyone?

No, they're not. The skin covering the tips of the spines just happens to be pale.
