L25a?

Yes, looking at headshape and fins I would say that it's à pair!

I would love to get a pair like that! Stunning fishes!

Thanks for replying.

Currently hoping that they would really pair up. The male is very aggressive and it will just keep chasing the female!

Wonder if the size of the male is too large at 15in, compared with female of 12in?

Thanks

They could probably get to spawn but if they are more equal in size the better i think!
But you need a large tank with a lot of hiding places for the female!

He could easy kill her if shes not able to get away and a stessed female will not get full with eggs!

In fact I have another two possible females, one is 12in another would be smaller at 10in. Would adding these two gals help ease the aggression from the male?

In fact, the male would hide in it's cave; but it whenever it's out of the cave, it would started going after the others :-p .

thks

Well, it could be good but I think it depends on the tanks size and interior!
If you have a large tank it could be good, so the male find a good female that he likes!

How large is the tank?

As in the L600/L114 article I've also have experience that they pair up and the bully the second female.
I dont know about L25 but I think both Pseudas and lepos is muchs more into creating pairs with their own territory compaired to other plecos.

My L240, L114, L91 spend a lot of social time befor spawning... I would not be supprised if L25 do the same but there are other here on PC that have much more experience in L25.

My tank is only 200 gallons, which is why I am reluctant to add the other 2 females.

Probably I will need to go around looking for a smaller male.

Thanks Cristoffer.
