Feeding mystus vittatus

Hi everyone, I just bought a striped catfish today. To be honest I don't know too much about them but trusted the pet store owner who owns a few himself.
Well I haven't seen him eat anything yet, the closest I've gotten were bloodworms which he spat back out.
So does anyone who owns this fish or similar species have any advise on what and how to feed him? Thanks in advance.

They will eat just about anything. Your fish is probably too stressed from the move to your tank. Give it a couple days and it'll be scarfing down bloodworms, pellets, brine shrimp, etc.

Ok, that idea did cross my mind, but I hadn't experienced that with new fish before today. Thanks :)

Some take 1 hour others take up to 1-2 weeks to acclimate, even when one aims for transferring fish into the same water (same temp, pH, hardness, etc.) and offering the same diet it is still a subject of 101 variables. The common practice during that period is to pay particular attention to the fish looking out for stress signs, possible illnesses, and that it starts to feed.
