Hi everyone. I've been checking out this site for a few months now, and finally got around to registering. I've got 2 tanks (so far) a 10 gal. with 3 corys & a farlowella, and a 50 gal. with 3 pl*ecos, & a bunch of platys.
The 50 gal. is a tank I got from my dad over the summer. Needed a lot of work, it's a wonder the 3 pl*cos that came with it made it, so this is an ongoing project.
The 10 gal. I've had for years with various platys and danios, and a 3' cae that I gave to my neighbors son today. The cae was rough on some of the platys, and this kid is into the more aggressive fish & was having an algae problem in his 29 gal. Just got the corys & farlowella today, all seems well.
Since the 50 is an ongoing project I'm sure to have plenty of questions, and this site seems to have plenty of experienced people with answers, so please bear with me.

Thanks!

Tolak

Hi Tolak,

Welcome to Planet Catfish! We tend to be a wee bit contagious when it comes to encouraging you to buy more fish and tanks, but of course, that's never a bad thing

That acronym also refers to another scourge of fish keeping: Malaysian Trumpet Snails. Haven't found a cure for either problem :-)

Hi Tolak,

Welcome, you are obviously addicted to Catfish and there aint no cure. Well, except for may be a new catfish once a month, just to keep the urges under control.
