I'm skeptical those are Panaque fry. Are there any other loricariids with them? All the tiny Panaque I've seen (wild caught) actually look reasonably like Panaque with their characteristic proportions.

I too doubt they are Panaque fry. The 'adults' could be semi adult P. schaeferi?

The babies look like
fry to me. Look at the shape of the tail fin for example.

Thank you all for answers. I have not seen Panaque fry but I though those are super rare so I was suspicious from the start.

I agree that these look like Ancistrus fry

The Panaque looks like P. schaeferi. This is a very large panaque and there is no way it could have had fry at the current size.
What else is in the tank with them?

They remind me a bit of my little A. Claro. Definitely Ancistrus I'd say.

If you look closely at the second picture, there is a fry stuck on the glass next to the Panaque. It clearly shows a mouth/ teeth of an Ancistrus
