I totally agree with that!
Where do they come from, which exporter? The Ageneiosus would be interesting for me as well.

Imho, the Ageneiosus picture shows 2 species. A sp. 3 as said (upper and lower specimen) and another yet undescribed species (specimen in the middle).
Am I correct in my assumption that all are still very small?

Not questioning HH's expert eye but just thought I'd mention that in the past it's been found hard to tell B. vaillantii from Pimelodus albicans on PCF. Read here if you will:

http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... vaillantii

All the rest, I have no comment on - I think HH is right.

On a side note, I think it'd fit much better in "What's my cafish?" forum, not here.

The eye is too small to be P. albicans.

Thanks, HH. Both fishes in the two threads I linked above have small eyes too... while the only small albicans in the Cat-eLog (of Amiidae) has large eyes. I don't understand then why there was no consensus among the experts that those two are B. vaillantii too?

Prariefire's fish is small (compare it to the size of the Pseudacanthicus that is barely visible). Small fish+small eyes=B. vaillantii

I understood your point, Dr. HH... I think. I think I was asking for you (only if you have the time and will) to look at the pics in those other two threads and offer your opinion (again).
