Hello, fish are 6 sub adults, three constantly running even with the lights on, the other three are still in their dens, this behavior may indicate different sexes?
dimensions ? dimensions are about 14 cm

thanks for the compliments, L 75 are sub adults, L 264 are adults, L 264 are the most naughty but since the tank about 600 liters. there are no major problems of coexistence. The 75 eats everything both vegetable and meaty. yes L 75 are six

Love L75's. To me, an underated pleco (as far as demand). I have 5 adults ranging from 5 to 7inch. These plecs are super colorful with tons of personality

Stunning fish! Look awesome. Though they look more yellowish in your first pics and darker in the new ones. How comes? Did they grow out of their colors or ist it the lighting?

You got any pics of the whole Tank?

thanks for the nice pics and the Video. As I keep 5 of them myself (now between 14-16cm) that show a very different behaviour then yours (mine are shy) I'm very interested what the reason could be. First of all mine were caught in the wild (Rio Tapajos) - I got them with about 5-6cm. They live in my Juwel Rio 450 AQ (more Details herehttp://www.einrichtungsbeispiele.de/ple ... 31830.html). There are ap. 8 caves (clay) for hiding purposes - which interesting enough are never used - instead they prefer my self built background wall which was built specifically for catfish that live in turbulant Waters (Rio Tapajos, Xingu,..). The strong laminar current is provided by Panta Rhei's ECM 42 (running at 50% - 5500l/hr). I'm using a lumlight LED Strip with a daylight Simulator and moonlight. They are fed between 19:00 and 20:00 with all kinds of dry or frozen Food - interesting enough they only eat Benkers Garnelenmix (frozen Food). They live with Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis, Carnegiella strigata, L333, L399 and L400 togehter........
It would be interesting what your parameters are in order to compare them to mine and eventually to come up with a hypothesis that would explain the difference in behaviour...

Perfect tank, the background is a very good idea.

Probably it is the fault of the light, now I have led 6500k Thank you for the compliments, my eating granular, spirulina and Artemia

I honestly do not know, even my parents are wild, I've bought 7 in different periods, the oldest are with me for four years, I have 7, 4 always running, while others are more timid,I bred them in tap water, temperature 27 °, even the freeze-dried Artemia floating eat into the surface, perhaps the different behavior depends on the different sex?

hello Max , in my opinion , but I may be wrong , the male I see more timid in search of food when lights are on , the female is much more courageous and always turns in search of food.animals have four years , not all have grown at the same so , it goes from 15 cm up to 20 cm .

Hello Franco - Thanks for sharing your observations - i believe in sexing pleco based on their behaviour (before they show the more obvious signs ) - that's why it is interesting to her from other owners - Do you have by chance any dorsal pictures of your males and females?
