Hi all.
All of the on-site stamps that I've just looked at (in the Catfish on Stamps section and under the Synodontis angelica entry in the Cat-eLog) have the text reversed. I guess that is how to state it...kind of a rear view mirrow effect.

Hi Lee!
I'm guessing it has to do with the recent "flip" of pictures.

I found the Stamps under
Captions You will need to scroll down a bit to get to the stamps.

It does have to do with the recent flip...I just went in to
and flipped those to see if that is all it takes and it worked...now unless the programming wizards of the site have another amazing plan these will have to
all be done manually.

it is not just the stamps...there will be a number of others, for example in
there is Erics fry pictures against a ruler...these I just changed. I suppose we will be busy manually doing the "few" that need to be flipped back.

Well, my wand is broke. This is just going to be an ugly slog (and one Mats and I knew was coming) to fix all these. What I WILL do, right now, is amend the caption page so that it has an admin link direct from the caption to the admin edit function.
I think, to answer Lee's query, that all stamps are now OK?

Hi Jools and all.
In the Catfishes on Stamps section some stamps are ok but a lot of them are the same as reported earlier. I did do a couple of refreshes to no avail.

I wondered why some of my own pics were reversed. If all pics of fishes should be facing left, i still got left and right. Some of my own pics of fishes were already facing left. Should i replace them or is someone going to reverse them back?

I have started working through a few families...this will take some time for us to manually switch back each individual image that needs it...still much easier than the imposing job it would have been before the big flip.

To clarify, are you looking at images in the Cat-eLog or images in the MyCats area?

Lets see you come up with a program to fix this one...the fish in the stamp is printed upside down...

Looking MyCats area
Every image in the database was recently reversed which included all pictures in MyCats.
All images in my own MyCats were reversed as well when everything was changed.
I just tried to upload a picture to MyCats and it automatically reversed it (no matter which way it is facing to start)...this is something Jools may have to turn off now that the big change has been made.

Regarding the MyCats images...Mats has a fix in place which will need Jools to do a final placement...this will probably take a week or so to complete.

Both the stamp and the MyCats issues have been checked and are resolved.
Moved to resolved.
