here are the 2 ingredients list wiht the 2 pellets, both are based on formulations for vegetarian fish. Main difference is that algae wafers as 5% fibre and the other has 3% fibre.
jus wondering though, looking at the ingredients, do you think that the sinking excel is a good alternative - not staple but say, alternate, just to reduce cost of feeding. I wanna stick wtih hikari - all my fish react better to them, but seeing if i can cut down cost, excell is half price or less to algae wafers.
i would say, i would probably alternate with the 2.
any feed back would be great
if its not a good idea, i would stick with algae wafers.
excel i find to have pretty much the same ingredients, proportion is just slightly diferent, i am told the first ingredients to appear generally in order is more in the food.

your foods don't have to be store bought....my 190's love zuchini(think you call it courgette), yellow squash, canteloupe, cucumber, peas, green beans, romaine lettuce, I think you know where I am going. Bear in mind that they are considered a wood eater so a good supply of wood will keep them happy and help their digestion. Regards, Pat
