L18, L81, L177: Diffrent species?

Post by Andersp90 »

Hello everyone.

Is the L18, L81 and L177 still considered to be diffrent species or has that changed since the "golden nugget" was described last year?

and are both considered - these L-numbers are clearly mentioned in the description of this species. is not mentioned, and appears to not be covered by the current description.

I personally would, if the goal is to breed them for example, only keep one variety (the bigger spotted L177, or the medium spotted L018 or the small spotted L081) in the tank, to retain the look of the parents in the fish, although I would expect that there are also "intermediate" variants.
