My B-day present Mystery Synodontis probably hybrid?
He/she is only about 4cm right now.
What do the experts think?

Looks a little bit "stumpy" but that might be camera angles. A hybrid possibly schoutedeni x angelica

i think they are Angelicus/eupterus

Grow it out for a few months and then come back and show us...juvi's can be ticky to ID but I think you are on the right track.

The guys are right about letting this young fish grow up to allow firmer ID. But I'd bet my next pint it turns out to be a . Check out picture 4.

Well i found out what it was sold as and they are listing it as an Angelicus/Eupterus. This store doesn't always have the right names though so who knows. I once bought a polypterus ornatipinnis from them and it turned out to be a Delhezi.
It's just so darn cute and pretty i just have to keep it no matter what it is.
