can i feed my loaches smoked salmon?

Post by danielle's tank »

was just sitting here eating some smoked salmon and my two year old is very messy so there are all kinds of flakes and a large piece she didn't finish. can i feed these to my loaches, lobster, neon rainbow's,danio's, dollars, and angelfish? or is it bad for them?

;))

Every time your 2 year old makes a 'foody' mess, you should maybe catch yourself from dumping it in the tank???

I've no doubt greedy dollars would be on it in a split second - a little would do no harm, but I wouldn't recommend it though... salmon is oily.

Due to the fact that your tank is small, overcrowded, and potentially not yet fully cycled, I would not recommend putting any table foods in it.
