To have the tanks big enough to keep these.
What size tanks do you keeps yours in?

I have several tanks, 3.00 x 70 x 70, 2.50 x 65 x 65, 2.00 x 60 x60. Two tanks 1.60 x 60 x 50 and several smaller ones
Later this I become another two tanks 1.80 x 80 x 60

I have 6 Panaque Nigrolineatus L190 in a 2.50 tank togehther with cichlids and one L27 Rio Araguia, I have 10 L169 in a separate tank, L397 also in a separate tank, 2 L330 Spotted in a separate tank, 3 L330 Half spotted combined with L204, L090 in a separate tank, L351 combined with Guianacara and two L191
At the moment I have about 80 panaque's.
Later this year the two Panaque Cf Armbrusteri L27 Rio Xingu move to a 1.80 x 80 x 60 tank combined with L14 and a group of Scalares Rio Xingu
Next year I want to place another 1.80 tank and also three 1.25 tanks for the smaller panaque's

Rob, nice collection you've got there. Some of those pics bring back memories of various royal panaque I've kept over the years--the variations in color and pattern always impresses me with those species (or set of subspecies). Now I know why the water wasn't exactly crystal clear in your "panaque nigro spawning ??" video--there is a lot of pooped out saw dust in there. Heheh! You must have to do a lot of vacuuming. I know. Been there, done that. And, still doing it to a lesser degree--I've got 4 royal panaque (one dull eyed L191 and three L190's) in a 125gal (6' long) tank with a bunch of other fish.
To be fair, the 3rd pic doesn't look like a Panaque sp. But, I could be wrong--it's not the best angle for ID--and I'm sure I'm not up to date on all the Panaque sp. L numbers. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Thx scleropages
On the 3rd picture is a Panaqolus Sp L351, I have 7 of them. In total I have about 75 panaque's.
And indeed, the big ones make quite some rubbish.....in nature the water isn't also very clear

I believe you are referring to his

Would LOVE to see pics of this tank, sounds awesome!!!
What sort of filtration do you use to deal with all the sawdust? Or just bare bottom and lots of siphoning?

Iám gonna use a system of Hamburger filter with a Eheim 2400 ltr pump combined with a Hydor koralia (5000ltr)
I don't mind the sawdust
