hey has recently gotten me 3 pieces hypancistrus catfish

I bought them as l-173 but does not really believe that it is the fish

so now i want to hear from all of you in here what it is I've taken pictures of them

it is 2 of them they are in their own cave
one is a part brighter on the other is darker

sorry no L 173 for sure. Looks like Hypancistrus sp. "lower Xingu" or L 450 for me. Nice fish, but I hope that you got them for a fair price.

The top fish, especially, looks like my L450s, to me. Nice fish. Good luck with them.

looks like "Lower Xingu" to me, but in my opinion they are basically the same as L450 anyways...just a bit downstream...to keep on point though...not L173...ENJOY

These catfishes are "Lower Xingu" i Think i now where they are from and they will look even better in some lighter Colors in the tank, Then the White Color Will be more clear.

i have the same fish like the on on the top and i got them as L450
