Yet to get a good look at the catfish in question, but it looks like it probably is a 20+cm Synodontis notata, that appears to have been traded-in at the fish store on my mail delivery round. The shop keeper thinks it is a Synodontis decora, but from just seeing the last <1/4 of the fish, the body and tail colours are all wrong for decora.
